Gimme your Google fridge, Dan!

Hey, Dan! I want your Google fridge!

First of all, I’d like to say that I love Google and I am the proud owner of one share in Google stock. Unfortunately, being a full-time (and struggling) web developer at 20 years old, I cannot afford to invest in more shares - let alone an awesome mini fridge.

If I had that fridge, I can say I’d probably use it daily. I am a tea addict, Lipton iced tea being my favorite (though, I like warm chai tea with cream in the winter). During the summer months I drink around a gallon of iced tea a day and about a half gallon during winter. It’s delicious stuff - especially when used to wash down Mike and Ikes.

I try to avoid making large batches of tea at a time because the fresh brewed taste is screwed up when it sits with everything else in the fridge. So, I usually stick to making a glass of tea at a time - and by glass, I mean about 32 ounces or your average extra large cup from a fast food restaurant. You can imagine how much time I spend making tea every day. Having a fridge dedicated to feeding my iced tea addiction and keeping me fueled with caffeine while sporting the logo of my favorite company would be the coolest (har har) thing ever! Not to mention a huge boost in my tea-brewing-and-cooling efficiency!

During the colder times of the year when I don’t drink as much tea and usually prefer it warm, I’d flick the fridge over to its heater setting and keep my chai tea steamy and delicious. I’d probably pop it open and roast my hands for a bit - gloves are a pain in the ass when you spend most of the day typing on a keyboard.

Dan, give me your Google fridge and I will cherish it forever!
