Time for a new feed reader 3

I’ve been using Bloglines as my preferred feed reader since the start of the Thirty Day Challenge. I’ve been reading and subscribing to more and more blogs lately, and I think it’s time to find something better suited for my needs.

One thing I would like to see in a feed reader is very frequent updates - ideally checking feeds for updates once every minute or more. Another thing I would love to see is alerts (like most instant messaging programs) for certain feeds. I’d like to be notified by a little box at the bottom-right corner of the screen the instant certain feeds are updated so I am one of the first to know about it. With Bloglines, I have to have a tab dedicated to it and I have to switch to it to check for updates instead of it notifying me when it’s updated.

I haven’t done much exploring with other feed readers, so I am open to suggestions. I’ve heard good things about Google Reader but I am not sure it’s exactly what I’m looking for. We’ll see!

Why hullo thar 0

It’s been a while since I updated this blog. I’m still working on developing a blogging habit.

It turns out one of those sales I made during the Thirty Day Challenge was charged back, so unfortunately I didn’t get paid for it. I’m still waiting on Ed Dale and Dan Raine to get their act together and finish up the awards ceremony for the Thirty Day Challenge.

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of surfing around looking at websites for sale. After a week and a half or two of surfing, I found one worth buying. I’ve had it for 24 hours now and it hasn’t made a sale yet (it’s supposed to making about 1.6 sales a day on average). I have until Monday before I need to complete the transaction so I’m hoping it makes a sale before then so I don’t have to return it and waste the 10-12 straight hours of work I spent on it last night. At least the site looks acceptable now, and the bounce rate appears to have gone down.

Blogging Habits 1

My only blogging habit is that I don’t have any. I’ve been telling myself I need to get a blog started but it wasn’t until Mark said something that I actually created one.

So here it is! Welcome to my blog, my place to share my experiences in internet marketing and online entrepreneurship.
